Hopefully you'll find another one soon.

I'm torn about the opal white Pyrex. The whole point of the vintage Pyrex for me is the fun colors designs! I had other plain bowls that I got rid of, why would I get plain white Pyrex? lol!

I have an opal 502 and I've been debating whether I should keep it or not. I know it's valuable and something about it IS kinda cool - so clean and noiseless - like the morning after a huge snowstorm, right? :-)Gretchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06972346971743726994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8597441289142115296.post-52423653829023653782009-12-17T13:15:29.424-05:002009-12-17T13:15:29.424-05:00I hope it all works out with the store. It's especially sad (no matter the value) when it's an old and/or collectible item that cannot be replaced. Have heart. Something better will come. On the bright side, it could have been worse. It could have been DELPHITE!Maureenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08508612331063038590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8597441289142115296.post-47010803539097631362009-12-14T19:35:31.954-05:002009-12-14T19:35:31.954-05:00So sad about the Pyrex but at least you got your r...So sad about the Pyrex but at least you got your refund. Still it's hard to see a wonderful piece broken due to bad packing? (I'm guessing?). Hopefully you can find another piece to treat yourself for Christmas.Linda @ A La Cartehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16356471099319932835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8597441289142115296.post-90275046868435277822009-12-14T18:53:01.800-05:002009-12-14T18:53:01.800-05:00Good result, pity about the bowl though. The same day I took photos for my festive finds post I had seasonal veg prepared in my red snowflake pyrex, when I was sweeping knocked it off the counter with the pole of the brush, it shattered into a thousand pieces, I'm shattered!Thrifted Treasurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06977265626746630973noreply@blogger.com
