ARE YOU KIDDING???

Ok this is August 5th, it is hot and humid in the Montre
al region...

Now I work in an office tower, it is depressing and dirty....we have partitions from the 80s and frankly they vacuum once a year....

So I try to go out everyday and walk...sometimes I shop but mostly just walk and look and sometimes freak out!

Yesterday I was shocked by these...

Halloween candy! Really??? When was it made? January?
                                          It makes me panic just to see it. I made a comment about it to the cashier and she said it was for the lunch boxes....REALLY???

On these words...I 'll take a bag of Kit Kats....

And I also saw this that made me sweat bullets....

Fleece lined leather gloves!!! WTF?

Wool scarves and hats with ears!

 

Now I'm really hot and sweaty! 

 

I'll now go sit by the AC!!!

Cleaning

So Dan decided to start to finish the 2 showcase cupboards for the Pyrex. OMG!!!

So I started cleaning and streamlining our glasses and cups putting some away in boxes- Who needs 40 coffee cups anyway?

And those cupboards needed a good scrubing- i'm not Suzie Homemaker for sure lol!

Reading blogs is so much more fun!

So I made 2 boxes to go in the basement and one box for the FQ (Quebec federation of metal illness) They come a couple of times a year and pick up the stuff we want to give. I like the fact that they come to my door!

And I started to clean out my closet as well....Byebye corduroy and fleece! I'll see you in fall....And I started a bag for the mental illness federation (we never know when I'll need their help!!!).

Especially with all that's going on in the world....Enough said I'm sure you get the picture!

Still working on filling the holes in the molding....The Blend-Fil Pencil by Minwax is not up to par!

In fact it is caca! I have to detach little bits and roll them in my fingers and stuff them in the nail holes....Fun in the sun (thank god I'm almost done!)

Tomnight we'll be dining on Cevapcici (serb sausage...homemade of course), tzazitki, oven baked asparagus and corn on the cob! My mouth is watering just writing about it....

My new creation

I have been wanting to make stuffed animals for a while now...And I made my first yesterday!

It does look handmade a lot and when I look at it I feel proud and warm and fuzzy inside!!! You can see that this kitten had a little snack earlier....hehehe

I had never worked with fleece before and it kept stretching on the sewing machine! I'll surely know what to expect next time.

I have the crafting fever....I'm itching to create jewelry, stray sock animals and more fleece kittens....One of my Xmas gift from Dan was a work lamp with magnifying glass...I can't wait to try it...I might tomorrow 'coz we have no celebration scheduled! Which I find kinda cool, it's certainely different....and full of potential
