Merry VTT to everybody!
So today it's about the Pyrex butterdishes. I was so sure I had 8 of them. I looked and looked and turns out I only have 7. They only made 7.
They all were manufactured in the late 60's- early 70's. The patterns are (from the first pic) clockwise left to right: Old Town Blue, Snowflake Blue, Spring Blossom Green, Woodland,
Autumn Harvest, Butterfly Gold, and the classic Butterprint.

Do you remember when I wrote that my interest in Pyrex keeps changing?
Well The butterdishes are the perfect example! I had no interest for them until I realised the bowls were taking over the house...So I needed to find smaller pieces...Hence the butterdishes!
I love having one on my kitchen counter filled with a stick of glorious butter goodness! YUM!

You have a great collection of the Pyrex dishes. I like and still have several different pieces, but none like yours.
Great collection. I had one of the green flower ones when I got married, and I still have the bottom half. I love my Pyrex pieces.

I do believe that you are the Queen of Pyrex! I rarely ever see the butter dishes in my thrifting travels. I think my favorite is the butterprint one!
Happy VTT!

Your Pyrex collection boggles my mind. So many patterns, styles and pieces. Love the butter dishes...I have one in my small Pyrex collection.
These are so great! Love that you have all of them!! Happy VTT!
Collecting something small like butter dishes is a good idea. But I wonder if they really save space. They don't look like you can stack or nest them.
Love your collection! I had no idea there were so many patterns of Pyrex!
That's nice that you have one of each pattern! I so wish they had made one in red but, of course, red wasn't trendy in the 70's!
Nice collection. I'm not sure I've ever seen a pyrex butter dish. Must look for them...
Very nice, complete collection!
they are adorable..the designs on the lids would make great stitchery patterns
7 butter dishes? That kind of cracks me up that you went for something smaller when you realized you had too many bowls. I'm glad you use them!
Elizabeth you need to know I have PYREXIA and it's bad, real bad! And my father enabled me big time! He would give me boxes of it. I can't keep away, I love the shapes and patterns too much!
Did you notice that ONE of you pyrex butter dishes matches the lid of the oval casserole I posted a few weeks ago???? The one with the tiny blue snowflakes on it.
Thanks for coming to my blog and thanks for telling me my post made you feel all "warm and fuzzy." You couldn't have given me a better compliment - - - as I wrote it, I was TRYING to convey the warm fuzzies that the memory evoked for me.
Holy crap honey! I've never even seen a pyrex butterdish! Not even in the gold butterfly pattern which people arent really even interested in that much (so it seems) I practically had to give away a perfect gravy boat and the underdish)
This is wonderful.
They are gorgeous, especially when you see them all together!!
Fun! I can remember those. Ah..collections. Mine are crocks and chairs.

OMG, OMG, OMGoodness!!!
My hubby will be so impressed, because you made me speechless. No small feat.
very nice collection. My MIL is a North Carolina farmer's wife and she always has 1 there near the stove too.
I feel a bit faint with envy! I have NEVER seen a pyrex butterdish and for one person to have managed to collect them all!!!
