I had a not so nice morning and I need to re-focus and think nice thoughts....Kittens with bows....Bacon....Sunshine....Pyrex....Aaaahhh the Pyrex did the trick! LOL
So after your visit please stop by Suzanne's blog HERE for your thrusday dose of vintage!
Today I offer you pieces from Dan's barware collection. Dan doesn't drink so it feels funny that if I look around I see shot glasses and cocktail shakers...Oh well! You don't choose your addictions....Did I mention that Dan is afflicted with Lampitis? (The love of vintage lamps).or is it Lampalia? I forget....
The cocktail shaker was Dan's Valentines gift. I had never seen one like that. My guess is mid-century but I can't find who designed it. It has a Georges Briard feel to it. I love the turquoise....HUM turquoise!
The glass was in Dan's Xmas stocking. I had no idea who Fred Press was...Now I dream of finding Fred Press glassware in every flea I visit....Both were Etsy finds.
The Numerology cocktail shaker was made in the 60's by Hazel Hatlas (Hazelware). It came with the original box. Another Etsy find. The seltzer bottle comes from France and was brought back by my Dad in the 60's. It is much older than that. My guess is early 1900's. I had been in love with the color since I was a wee girl.
Thanks for visiting! See you soon! :)

Such cool barware. I have an old bar that was my parents and I have a few pieces of older barware, they are a fun collectible.
I love those martini shakers. It doesn't hurt that I love martinis too. : ) I wish I could find something like that around here.
I hope you have a good day.
Great barware...I see Dan suffers from Barfia as well as Lampia...sure glad to hear he doesn't have the Ism that leads to the consumtion of the stuff that goes into those very cool shakers and glasses!
Fantstic! I think im going to add a Bar to the Lounge at the Casablanca... of course ti will be dry for 2 more years, but I figure if I start Collecting stuff now I can have a regular "Rat Pack" set up by the time im 21!
I love the blue seltzer bottle and also the ivy pattern chip and dip bowls.
I always enjoy your VTT posts. The incredible stuff you find! The bar ware is divine. I agree...mm, turquoise. You know, as a kid, I wondered why everything was "aqua" as my mother called it. Even the beauty salons had aqua hairdryers. I thought it was very strange, but now I absolutely love it!
Thats so cool!My fave glasses ever are my vintage turq. and metallic amoeba ones - man I love them so!
Im so glad you understand my sickness :)
That shaker does look like Briard. The pattern looks like the Forbidden Fruit pattern I had on my white glasses.
P.S. I really NEED that seltzer bottle!
I LOVE that first shaker! It is just fabulous! I wish it were mine.
Happy VTT!
I love the barware..the pieces you've shown are just beautiful. Happy VTT..have a wonderful week.
Love the retro barware...but gasp...that pyrex set is just amazing...oh, how I love the design. Had a ball looking around! Have a great VTT!
I don't drink either but I collect shot glasses, beer mugs, champagne glasses, etc. Beautiful colors.
What a cool collection! You have some great pieces. BTW - love the diagnosis on my blog earlier "Canosis"! Made me laugh! Thanks!
That blue bottle is beautiful! I luv that color. And the vintage glass reminds me of a set my mom had when I was a kid. Thanks for shareing. Julian
It would be a bad thing if we all liked and wanted the same thing. I think your husband's collection is nice for a man. The blue one is very pretty.
The seltzer bottle is great- And the color is quite striking!
Aqua ROCKS! and on the rocks.
I love the gold and aqua of the top pieces, gorgeous!
