Smarties....yum

In my last post I blogged about Smarties not existing in the U.S...
I found it real strange because in my little mind everything exists in the U.S.
I learned about this from a postal worker who was busy packing a whole lot of boxes of Smarties for her cousin living in Arkansas.
We maybe they're available in some states, but nor all.
To tell the truth I don't really like Smarties...I prefer M&M with peanuts...I love peanuts...
So Smarties are little disks of chocolate dipped in a colored sugar coating....I don't like them because I find them , well kinda boring....

We have a candy called Smarties here, but they're not chocolate. They're little discs of candy, wrapped in cellophane about 3" long. Kind of like Necco wafers, but way smaller. My sister has an addiction to them!

I know which ones you're talking about! We have those as well! Only they're called Rockets.Once you start it's hard to stop!

I love Necco wafers as well. I can find some here but they're imported and only in specialty stores.

Hadn't thought about Smarties in a long time. When my sister and I were silly little girls we used to rub the red ones on our lips and pretend it was lipstick!
