Through my employer and Equiterre this year I'm able to get farm fresh produce and help support a local farm.
I've been wanting to do this for a long time. I'm so glad we signed up for this! I'll be getting my first produce basket tomorrow. I can't wait to see what I get!
The farm is in Ormstown, Qc and is called Les Jardins Glenorra.
This is so exciting!
Must get ready to go to work :)

That's great! My son and his wife have been doing this for a couple of years and love it! Can't wait to see your bounty!
Hopefully, you're not like me: I buy veggies and fruit with the intention of being virtuous and eating well, and actually cook, then I get lazy and a lot of it ends up in the compost bin. We actually call our vegetable crisper our vegetable rotter!
We are veggie junkies so we shouldn't waste a lot. Of course I'm not a saint so it might take some adjusting to use all the veggies!
We are now having a green smoothie almost every morning with kale, cukes, broccoli, ginger, garlic, lemon and other good stuff-I,m not the smoothie clerk, Dan is, so I don't know all that goes inside, but I feel great and full of energy and inspiration :)
we eat a lot of salads as well, so it should b a win-win situation.
Thanks for stopping by my bloggy firends I will take pics of the bounty!
Ohhhhh, that's wonderful! I looked into that around here and it was like $900 a year to join the co-op. so I had to say no thanks...
