Quick update

Last post I wrote about the HUGE quantity of Chinese restaurants in Cornwall, Ont. It seems I was exaggerating....Really you say? You ? Vonlipi ,exaggerating??? How could it be???

So for a population of 46,000 there are only 9 Chinese restaurants in Cornwall....Well it seems a lot because on Ile Perrot we are 40,000-50,000 with only 2 Chinese restaurants.....

It might be because of the locations, I don't know! anyways here's another pic of a different place where they serve canadian foods...Now what is canadian foods? I have no idea!!! Beans? Steaks? What exactly qualifies as a canadian food? If you know please leave a comment!!!

On a totally different subject: Fox has decided to produce another show with the Osbournes. You got that right Ozzy and the whole circus....I decided to give it a try and I could only watch it for 10 minutes. It was horrible and lame and like having acid thrown in my eyes!!!

I'm finishing season 6 of Buffy the vampire slayer- very hard season for the Buffy, very depressing...In my opinion she should have stayed with Spike! But I digress! I'm still hunting for Angel seasons 4 and 5 and I'm certainly not loosing hope!

Angel update

You remember that post when I said that I was watching the complete Angel series?

Well I finished season 3. I turned the house upside down trying to find the last 2 seasons (really! I nearly lost sleep over that...I was like a maniac) and nothing! After a couple of days I realised that I never had them, I never bought them....(rats!)

So now I'm on the prowl for Angel....lol. I tried Ebay but what I found was way too expensive....I tried some internet reatilers...expensive as well....I went to Walmart (I never go to Walmart, I associate that store with the SPAWN OF SATAN! Need I go into the union thing?, the low wages? the harrassement? the blackmail of local companies?-Granted the prices are good for the customers....) So there I am in Walmart, battling the crazed bargain hunters with their carts full of kids....repeating "Don't stop and look, don't stop and touch just go to the electronics department"...Well they only had seasons 1 & 2...Bummer! Big badaboum bummer!!! LOL

So I started to watch Buffy the vampire slayer.....

Sick as a dog....

It all started innocently enough....a runny nose ,an itchy eye (which can be interpreted as allergy symptoms that I have most days anyways...). I took echinacea just in case....Well Sunday morning it was here fo'sure the HEAD COLD!!! I bought Cold FX which will boost your imunity and send the cold packing or reduce it's duration. I still felt good enough to have lunch with Dad (Delicious,delicious Chinatown) and we went to see a play after (I just love the matinee). The hard part was not blowing my nose when the actress was talking! Dan laughed sooo hard it made me laugh as well.Besides the cold, we really had a cool day and I am very glad and grateful Dad invited us!!!

By Sunday night I was a wreck...I ate a bowl of cereal and went to bed at 8!

When I'm sick I sleep (a lot) and when I'm awake I indulge in DVDs.....This time I'm having an Angel festival....I watched them all when they were on but to watched them back to back is really fun! Even if I wanted to do other things I couldn't...I'm totally helpless when sick totally, I can't cook, I can't surf the net, I can't think so I might as well stuff myself with DVDs!

And when I'm sleeping I have little kitties like Yoda above keeping me warm and secure....

I have to go, I can't sit up at the computer for long my back hurts...LOL

Thank God it's only a head cold.....
