Ok this is the wardrobe before...One side pantryesque and the other for coats and boots. Notice the before color that deep burnt orange that says: hey! we went to south america and we feel the need to cover the whole house in terra cotta!
After shot. I really like the new panelled doors and that beigy, mocha, brown, khaki color.
Old light (I hate those! we have them all over the house)
New light (I'm totally in love with this one! I've been eyeing it for years now, it's from LLBean-love)
Also this is the toot my own horn moment, I installed it myself and Dan was the helper-I'm the resident electrician)
Our reward...
Lunch! There was some meat, but it was not in Pyrex....so not in the pic!
No blogging for me tomorrow, I'm off to the city for some bloodwork and the annual tit pressing (I hate this)
Have a great evening :)

Love the changes and completed projects. I call it the boob smashing and dread it but almost time for mine also!
Oooh, sometimes change is good. Sometimes just because it is a change!
Bravo for your wiring skills, and hurrah for a guy who's secure enough in his manhood to be part of the project!
Sorry about your appointment. Maybe if you scored some pyrex on the trip it would make it all worth it.
Change is good!
Dan is the woodworker/carpenter and I'm the electrician/plumber. It's always been like that.
Of course you have to know when to call the professionnals!
We won't redo a roof! No way jose!
Well I have a lump in my breast and it's a lump of fat (I call it my little rolled up bacon slice; in case I have a craving), and my cousin battle breast cancer last year, so I have to have it checked out!
Fantastic Job! Isnt is AMAZING what a little paint and a new light fixture can do?!
Everything looks so awesome! Including lunch! Good luck at your appt...
Looks really nice- the new doors are perfect, so tidy and clean looking! Pyrex question- I spotted 2 of those tiny red refrigerator dishes with lids at a shop for $8 a piece. I left them there because I was feeling particularly cheap that day. Is that price too high for those? I'd never seen them before...
Tara, I'd say that it's the regular price for a red fridgie with a lid.
But I picked some up for .25 cents too...As long as you don't regret it...:)
Wow, that looks great! I love the change and I would love to change some light fixtures, sometimes I see them at sales and wow. I have typical ugly builders installs.
Love the pyrex :)
Hate the boob thing
